A sporting challenge in the heart of the forests… and the local land
Don’t be fooled by its tasty name: the Ham Trail is serious business.
Kilometers of wooded paths, challenging elevation gains, breathtaking Ardennes landscapes — and a true taste for effort… well supported.
Held annually in Vresse-sur-Semois, this now-iconic trail attracts seasoned runners as well as lovers of raw nature. Several distances are offered, winding through rocky ridges, deep valleys, dense forests, and grand panoramic views over the Semois.
Some of our guests lace up their running shoes, while others prefer to cheer from a viewpoint… Either way, it’s a wonderful way to discover the Semois Valley from a different perspective.

More than a race, an immersion
It’s not just a starting line.
It’s an atmosphere. A local passion.
Committed volunteers, a close-knit organization, a touch of good humor… and always that cheeky nod to Ardennes ham.
Whether you’re there for the clock, the personal challenge, or the beauty of the route, the Ham Trail leaves no one indifferent (or clean).
